New department at the Medical Faculty of the Comenius University in Bratislava

Beginning June 11 2007 we‘ve set up a new department the Center for project support at the Medical Faculty of the Comenius University in Bratislava. For now the center operates under the direct supervision of the Separate section for research, postgraduate study and international relationships (Samostatný referát vedeckovýskumnej činnosti, doktorandského štúdia a zahraničných stykov), but soon after amending the statute and the organization chart it should operate as an independent department.

The goals of the Center for project support are following:

  • Searching for new current calls for proposals in the fields of education, R&D
    in Slovak republic as well as from international and  EU institutions,
  • Supplying information to the departments and employees of the faculty about the current call for proposals,
  • Organizing trainings and seminars for the departments about the specifics of each particular call for proposal,
  • Consulting services for all faculty departments with project creation and management,
  • Organizing the inner faculty presentations of project ideas and facilitating an independent disputation of the particular project proposal,
  • Administrative management of the preparatory and implementation part of the projects from the faculty departments,
  • Facilitating basic administrative services for the current calls for proposals,
  • Preparation and implementation of projects aimed to broaden the activities of the center,
  • Systematical networking and establishing contacts and cooperation on national as well as on international level in the fields of education, research and its application.

 

The office of the Centre for project support is located on Sasinkova St. 2 (opposite the reception). Consulting hours are weekdays except Friday from 2 pm till 4 pm or anytime after previous arrangement has been made.
