    INTERNATIONAL MOBILITY CENTER

 

 

 

 

 

The International Mobility Centre (IMC) at the Faculty of Medicine, Comenius University was established in September 2007. IMC provides assistance and information for students of Faculty of Medicine and also for foreign students who are studying at the Faculty of Medicine. The main fields of IMC activities are:

  • For foreign students - consulting about documents which are required by Foreign Police.
  • For foreign students - consulting about physical examination at the Policlinics of Exotic Disease.
  • For foreign students - consulting about different questions related to the stay in Slovakia and organization of study at Faculty of Medicine of Comenius University.
  • For foreign students - consulting about accommodation.
  • Services within the signing of Agreements on the provision of the program of study in general medicine or dental medicine between foreign student and Faculty of Medicine.
  • To mediate the mobilities for students and teachers to European Union as well as to Non- European Union countries.
  • Improvement of information providing about foreign countries and help with planning of study and research trips in abroad.
  • Distribution and selling the English version of Revision Booklet.
  • Presentation of Faculty of Medicine abroad.
  • Distribution, selling and designing the promotional items.
  • Cooperation with universities, research and medical institutions within the scope of organization of trips and visits for foreign students during their stay at the Faculty of Medicine.
  • Administrative activities related to the visits of foreign qualified professors and doctors.
  • Organization of seminars about foreign study programs for Slovak students.
  • Creation and actualization of IMC website.
