Ronald and Eileen Weiser Professional Development Award
Mr. Ronald Weiser, former U.S. Ambassador to Slovak republic pledged USD 250 000 for the creation of the Ronald and Eileen Weiser Professional Development Awards. These supports travel awards to the University of Michigan at Ann Arbor for applicants from Slovakia who propose projacts in any field of research or teaching with a faculty partner at the University of Michigan. Fulbright Commision (www.fulbright.sk) supervises the administration of the programme in the Slovak Republic from 2004 to 2009. Applicants from the University of Michigan could come under the same conditions to visit Comenius University Faculty of Medicine.
