About Workshop:
This experiential workshop combines abstract painting with elements of mindfulness. Participants will create their own artwork using acrylic paints, brushes, spatulas, and sponges, focusing on inner experience, relaxation, and non-judgmental creativity. The session begins with simple mindfulness techniques to support connection with oneself and the creative process. Open to all levels, the workshop offers a space for rest, expression, and discovering personal intuition.
About professional teacher of workshop:
Dominika Weissová works as an assistant professor at the Department of Art and Culture at the Faculty of Education, Comenius University in Bratislava. Her focus is on art education didactics and topics such as creativity development, student motivation, and flow. She leads art courses for ARTeria creative, centered on experiential painting. At the RCPU Bratislava, she also leads workshops focused on inquiry, metacognition, and teacher wellbeing through painting.
