Update - The schedule of the study in the summer semester 2019/2020

Dears employees and students of the Faculty of Medicine, Comenius University (MF CU) in Bratislava,

on 24 March 2020, Rector of the CU prolonged the interruption of the contact tuition and related measures until further notice, or according to the measures of the state officials.

The schedule of the study at FM CU in the summer semester 2019/2020 is therefore adjusted as follows:

Examination period	18 May to 31 August 2020
Pre-terms	11 May to 29 May 2020
Transferred subjects	20 April 2020 to 3 July 2020
State examinations - re-examination and compensative dates	17 August 2020 to 31 August 2020
Defence of diploma theses in the study programme Dentistry	11 May to 29 May 2020
Compensative defence of diploma theses in the study programme General Medicine and study program Dentistry	17 August 2020 to 31 August 2020

In case of need, the tuition will be prolonged up to June.

Regarding the coronavirus crisis, the long-distance online form of examination, state examination and diploma thesis defences are implemented.

The subject guarantors are obliged to strictly individual approach to the assessment of prerequisites regarding the possibilities to examine subjects.

The guarantors of study subjects can modify the conditions for obtaining credits in particular subjects, aiming to maximum utilisation of the long-distance form (online examination, tests, seminar works, and so on.). The students must be informed on new conditions for obtaining the credits minimum 2 weeks before the examination/test.
