Dear students,

From 9 March to 21 March 2020 you will not have any classes, seminars or practicals at our faculty and hospital departments of Faculty of Medicine, Comenius University. The teaching process will be organized as a self-study, distant teaching via email or via any other suitable method. Your teachers will inform you (via e-mail) in the coming days how they are going to teach you.

During this period, I would like to ask all student not to come to our faculty or hospital departments, student hostels, and not to travel out of Slovakia. In case the infection occurs in any student hostels, all students who will be present on these premises will immediately undergo a quarantine regimen.

I would like to ask you to check your faculty emails regularly, few times a day, in case the faculty management sends you any new updated information and because your teachers will organize teaching process via email.

I would like to emphasise that discontinuance of contact teaching does not mean any dean’s or rector’s free days, just your study continues in another form - electronically via an e-mail communication.
