On october 6, 2025, the Faculty of Medicine at Comenius University Bratislava hosted the International Minisymposium 2025, which was dedicated to the topic of Advancing education in neurodevelopmental disorders and the comparison of animal models.   

The event was organized by assoc. prof. RNDr. Ján Bakoš, PhD, associate professor of normal and pathological physiology at the Institute of Physiology of the Faculty of Medicine at Comenius University Bratislava, as part of the ENLIGHT+ programme. It was a pilot cooperation project focused on the diverse autism-like animal models across participating Europian universities (Comenius University Bratislava, Slovakia; University of Basque Country, Spain and University of Bordeaux, France).
