VICE DEAN FOR 4TH – 6TH YEAR OF GENERAL MEDICINE STUDY PROGRAMME IN SLOVAK LANGUAGE AND STUDENT SOCIAL AFFAIRS

She graduated from the Faculty of Medicine of Comenius University in Bratislava in general medicine in 1979. Since the end of her university education, she has been working at the Dermatovenerological Department of the Faculty of Medicine, CU and UHB. Since 2004 she has held the position of the head of the department. In 1983 and 1987, she obtained the 1st and 2nd degree specializations in dermatovenerology and, in 1997, in corrective dermatology. In 1989, she defended her PhD academic title. In 1997, she habilitated in dermatovenerology, and in 2004 she was appointed a professor of dermatovenerology. She completed the study in public health management, "Master of Public Health". From 2011 – 2015, she held the post of vice-dean of FMCU for educational activities for the 4th – 6th year in the general medicine study programme in the Slovak language and in 2019-2023, the same post for 1st – 6th grade of study.
She was the principal investigator of a scientific project of technology transfer funded by the EU SF, the principal investigator of a scientific project funded by the Science Grant Agency of the Ministry of Education and Culture (VEGA) and a co-investigator in other scientific projects. She works as the principal investigator and co-investigator of several clinical studies. She is the author of scientific publications, co-author of 4 textbooks and 3 teaching texts, professional and educational publications and lectures at professional events, conferences, and symposia at home and abroad.
Since 2005, she has been the guarantor for the doctoral study programme in dermatovenerology, the habilitation and inauguration procedure in dermatovenerology. She is a regional expert for dermatovenerology at the Ministry of Health of the Slovak Republic, vice president of the Slovak Dermatovenerological Society and president of the Slovak Mycopathological Society.
She is a member of several professional societies and editorial boards of domestic and foreign professional magazines. She received several awards for her work.
