Physical education classes in the winter semester 2025/26 begin in the week of September 22.
Physical education will be in the gym of Faculty of Medicine at "Mlynská dolina - Manželské internáty" (see the map below).
You can use the bus number 139, get off at the bus stop "Na Sitine", or by the bus number 31 and 39, get off at the final bus stop 31,39 (Cintorín Slávičie) and then walk aprox. 7min.

The first year will have physical education classes according to study groups.

ONLY 1 HIKE OR 1 ACTIVITY (LESSON) OFFERED BY OUR INSTITUTE PER WEEK IS ACCEPTED!!! (OTHERS WON´T BE WRITTEN TO OUR EVIDENCE)
1 HIKE = 2 LESSONS (2,5 - 3 HOURS)
Participation in hiking is possible only once a week!!!
Students who are not able to participate at physical eduacation lessons due to a MEDICAL REASONS can be reliesed from PE. Students have to bring a valid original medical report from a doctor specialist in person to responsible teacher according to a schedule at the beginning of the semester. English translation is required!!!

We accept receiving exemptions from physical education till 20.10. 2025. After this date we are not accepting any new applications!!!

Students who practice sport at high performance level can be reliesed from PE lessons. They have to send a confirmation/ membership from a team club or federation with sport results at the beginning of the semester!

Students have to show valid fitness confirmation and the payment at the beginning of the semester. Without this evidence it won´t be accepted!

Course syllabus summary: Teach the theory, methodology and practical coping following sports: basketball, volleyball, football- futsal, hockey, tennis, table tennis, badminton, swimming, aerobics, zumba, hiking (medium course, walking and water) and winter sports according to the interest of students. Foundations and principles of exercise in the gym. Practicing and mastering the basic game activities and simple combinations in game situations. Fundamentals of the rules, strategy and tactics in the selected sport. Exercises for medically fragile - fit, gym, swimming pool. Optional winter concentration. | |
