Open Day – We Look Forward to Welcoming Applicants Again

Students do not need to travel far to receive high-quality medical education. We would like to show you exactly what makes Faculty of Medicine Comenius University Bratislava unique at our Open Day. For this upcoming event, we have prepared an engaging, experience-based program, where teaching demonstrations will be delivered directly by our academic staff from the theoretical institutes.
You will discover how a healthy person breathes compared to someone affected by disease, and learn about the differences between a healthy and a diseased heart muscle — an organ essential for life. You will have the opportunity to gain basic skills in examining histological specimens under microscope and explore ocular structures. You will also experience a simulation of an emergency situation, where every second counts. In addition, we will introduce you to the world of ultrasound and show you how physicians are able to “see” inside the human body.
During the event, we will also provide important information about application deadlines and entrance exams for the upcoming academic year. You will receive useful tips on how to prepare for entrance exams, have the chance to ask any questions about studies at our faculty, and learn more about opportunities for international mobility and internships.
